Small animal services:

  • Wellness Exams and Testing

We recommend annual exams and testing to detect early or hidden diseases in pets that seem healthy so we can implement treatments earlier.

  • Surgery

We perform many surgeries including ovariohysterectomies (spays), castration (neuter), feline declaw, soft tissue surgery (mass removal, laceration repair, etc.), abdominal exploratory surgery (foreign body, etc.), and many more. For most surgeries, we do not require overnight hospitalization.

  • Dental Health

70-80% of dogs and cats have dental disease by the age of three. We use an ultrasonic scaler to clean teeth and stop the progression of the dental disease. Annual cleanings are recommended for most pets.

  • Diagnostics

Digital radiography (X-rays) has better image quality, less radiation exposure than film X-rays, and quicker processing times.

SediVue is our newest in-house analyzer used to evaluate canine and feline urine samples for infection and underlying diseases.

ProCyte is our in-house CBC (complete blood count) instrument that screens for anemia, infection, and platelet disorders.

Catalyst Dx is an in-house chemistry analyzer that allows us to evaluate blood chemistry values, electrolytes, T4, and progesterone levels.

  • Acupuncture

Acupuncture is used to provide pan relief and promote healing without the need for medication.  It is an excellent option for pets that have adverse reactions to medications or to complement their current treatment plan.

  • Chiropractic

Chiropractic care also offers numerous benefits to pets.  When a subluxation occurs, it creates an irregular relationship between two adjacent structures in the spine. This slight change can alter nerve pathways and interrupt the body’s natural ability to heal and function optimally. By correcting these subluxations, we can restore proper nerve function and support your pet’s well-being.

  • Flea and Tick, and Heartworm Prevention

We recommend treating pets with monthly flea and tick, and heartworm preventatives.  Fleas are easy to get and hard to get rid of, they can cause skin irritation and allergies. Ticks transmit Lyme disease and many other infectious diseases. Preventing the bite prevents the disease. Heartworm infections are expensive to treat and can be deadly. Monthly heartworm preventatives also treat intestinal parasites.

  • Therapy Laser Treatments (Cold Laser)

Our therapy laser is a pain-free, surgery-free, and drug-free treatment option for pain and inflammation. It can be used for a variety of problems including arthritis, hip dysplasia, wounds, dental disease, lick granulomas, ear infections, and more.

  • Reproduction

We offer in-house progesterone testing with results in approximately 15 minutes, surgical AI, and semen collection and shipping.

  • Microchipping

We can implant a microchip into your pet that serves as permanent identification and gives them the best chance of coming home if they are lost.

We have new boarding kennels, runs, and cat condos that provide stress-free and safe housing for your pet while you are away.

Our experienced groomer and staff will take time to gain your pet’s trust to provide a comfortable experience for them.

  • Euthanasia and Cremation

We understand that making the decision to euthanize a pet is not an easy one. We are here to answer questions and assist in any way we can during this difficult time. We also offer on-site, private cremation for your pet.
